My Rates for Private Pay

A Therapist Like Me supports racial equity and closing the wage gap for therapists of color and minority therapists. We support our minority-identified therapists, the rates, and boundaries they have set for their practice. A Therapist Like Me supports financial applications up to $100 per session (based on need) towards your therapist’s rate, for up to 12-sessions, every 6-months (then you can reapply).

If you are a potential client unable to afford Elizabeth’s rate in the event you are approved for financial assistance, Elizabeth is available to speak to you about the affordability of her services. Please contact her.

$150 - 1 hour Couples/Family/Band Members/Poly-group Equine-assisted Psychotherapy

About Me

Hey! My name is Elizabeth (she/her/hers) and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I got my Bachelors degree at the University of Kentucky and my Masters at University of Tennessee. I've been in Asheville for 5 years. I could name a lot of boring therapeutic modalities but what you need to know is that my speciality is calling people out on their shit...in a therapeutic way! My job is to help you figure out what patterns are keeping you stuck in the loop you're in. We'll figure out what's working in your life, what's not working, and why. I love working with people of color, folks that identify as LGBTQIA+, and people who are just plain-out trying to figure out who the heck they are. My other specialty is equine-assisted psychotherapy, but I probably won't bring any horses to the office (no promises). I like horseback riding, hiking, exploring new breweries and playing with other people's dogs.

Training, Modalities, & Professional Experiences

I'm certified to do equine-assisted psychotherapy (therapy with horses!) and some other office-based therapeutic modalities with uninteresting names. Here's what you need to know - I'm certified, licensed, and want to help you get your life on track. I don't have a magic wand, just some jedi-mind tricks. I'll let you know when i'm using them.
