Often times, minority-identified therapists are expected to provide training at a reduced or free rate. A Therapist Like Me empowers minority-identified therapists to provide training at a market rate.

Pop-Up Clinics & support groups
When political issues, events, and trauma impact minority-identified groups in our community, we empower both minority-identified and therapists in our community to help support.
Our current, volunteer needs:
Certified Peer Support Specialists
Individual and group therapists
As-needed and as therapists are available to respond to trauma in our community
Particularly looking for those trained in crisis response, mental health first-aid, Community/Trauma Resiliency Modeling, Acute Traumatic Incident Processing, Brain Spotting, and other, trauma-informed modalities
Qualified Professionals
Resource assistance
Advocacy
Space
Therapists and organizations with large, group spaces and/or individual, office spaces
Are you a community member or therapist open to volunteering your time and/or space to A Therapist Like Me in the event of community trauma?
